I will say that, in my view, two paths are emerging: One can be seen by reading Prof. Samuel Heilman&#039;s 2006 book, &quot;Sliding to the Right&quot; - about the expanding conservative Jew Orthodoxy, and the other by casually reading publications like &#039;Heeb&#039; - secular-eque hipster Jewish. Careful reading of Auslander&#039;s biting and well-crafted writing fits both camps in a way.

As for me, I am currently reading Prof. Amy-Jill Levine&#039;s 2006 book, &quot;The Misunderstood Jew: The Church and the Scandal of the Jewish Jesus&quot;.</description>
